The island hopping begins..

The man himself, mr nick way arrived yesterday morning, kick starting the croatian island hopping adventures.

The town of Malinska was equally dazzling at dawn as it was at dusk; and upon nicks arrival (a 16 hour excursion after we arranged to meet him in Dubrovnik) we set about enjoying the water and the spells of sun.

A day of snorkelling and exploration ensued and a long awaited and much anticipated trip to the local gym, where we met an American-croatian chap named johnny, and the gym session quickly spiralled into a drinking session, resulting in a hangover; and a very painful bus journey today!

But here we are, after two hours of the most spectacular, rugged Croatian coastline, in the small quayside town of Losinj, where we stay to enjoy some sun before the hop to the next Island on Saturday.

And Finally the sun has got his hat on, and we're ready and willing to play!

  1. Hello Simon. I see you and friends are having great time in this part of the Balkans. It is good that you want to keep a good diet for Muscle building and that you go to the gym even on vacation. You also are eating rich deserts and pizza which are high calorie carbohydrates along with high fat. I'm in Leamington, Essex County Ontario Canada and know young guys who body build and am VERY IMPRESSESD at the size they have attained in just about one year and they have said they very seldom eat these sweet things but all like a few drinks which can add the weight if not careful. Everybody's metabolism treats them differently and is good to get understand of yours. You and friend are still young and have an active metabolism and if you work out constantly & eat right your metabolism will do you right. I noticed you stopped adding to your blog and too bad as you could give pointers to those who want to continue building muscle. Being knowledgeable about methods of training and diet will always be beneficial. You get good grades from me for these things. Enjoy and take care. Denis
